I just looked over all that you have been doing. I had a log house once in a little supburb of Cleveland but now, my wife says too much maintenance for a old guy. (and her)
I am going to try to order your latest book that was published in Germany. I had a problem with the site but will go into my other world of books with the iPad and see what I can find...I like the price on Smashwords.

Debbie, I am wondering how the trailer and publicity came out with our friend Brass Hinge Publishing? Good feedback I hope.

Debbie, we are all waiting to hear how "Edge of Escape" worked out for you with the German folks. Can you give us an update??

I think it sounds cool to be published in Germany...at this point in time I like being published but like being purchased better. I am rewriting my entire Jake series, revising it and putting all seven, without duplicating pictures into one children's book...I did rewrite my other three novels and thanks to you have made them better.

Hi Debbie, how is the juvenile book writing going? Looks like you are doing well out there and I do keep up as much as possible.

Congratulations on your many children's books. Yours are no doubt more refined than mine as mine are for 3-5 year olds and basically are photography with descriptions and introduced to children by my dog, Jake....Your talent is noted.

I have taken your remarks as "words to the wise." You are above average in your knowledge and selective in your work, and it shows.
Thank you so much for the encouragement you gave me on my book. I rewrote it, checked it for grammer, have picked up two books on punctuation, and am probably still a novice, compared to you....Thanks

I should be done by tomorrow night...Perfection is a good thing...I think I have 99% correct on punctuation. I would like to get this self published within the next two weeks, but in the meantime I am also going to send a query to some agents...do you have any in mind????

I can't think of any other way to write and read than with proper punctuation. YOu will find some errors, they area everywhere in every book I have ever read, but not many as I think I have caught them all after my fifty reading and correction making.
Give me an email address and I will send as soon as I am finished with this final round, which should be not later than Saturday.

Hi Debbie,
I am glad to see you are still with us. I am considering sending you a pdf file on my newest attempt, Moving West, as told by Gilbert Clock..it is the second in the trilogy of "Every Hour Counts", which is about the beginning of the clock in 1879 and its journey with the people that own it.

Let me know if you would be interested in reading and commenting. 275 pages..

Debbie,
Thank you for your interest in Brass Hinge Publishing. Brass Hinge is in it's infancy, but I will proceed cautiously and adhere to the guidlines followed my legitimate pub lishers. Bearing the expense is daunting, but I will eventually succeed.

Our first release was a book penned in the 30s 40s and 50s. I titled it, "Driftwood - A Collection of Works by Violet Overmyer". It is a short story followed by some lovely poems. I won't ask you to review it, but will gladly share it with you. I will send a pdf upon request. It came to me as a hand me down "self made book" from my attorny's family. I don't expect to make much money from it , but the publishing experience will be of great value in the future.

My children's book has been a real pain. It's titled "The Adventures of Stephen and Diesel" I struggled with the notion of using illustrations. Dealing with persnickety artists proved to be a huge lesson in temperance. 4 different artist and nearly a year later and I have decided to forego the illustrations. I'll rely on the idea that the children should be visualizing, using their own imagination.

I would like you to review this book. I enjoy constructive criticism and believe it is necessary in order to improve as a fledgling author. I am hoping to release it in May, but this time frame is not etched in stone. (The artists taught me this lol)

The Stephen and Diesel book is in final edit, so please be aware that you may still find grammatical errors. (They seem to hide from me?)

I hope we can become good friends and possibly someday work together on one of your books for Brass Hinge Publishing.

Thank you so much for your time and I would wholeheartedly return the favor and review your work. I'm not really a book reviewer but I certainly do have opinions which may help in some way.

It's great to find you here. I love this site. Sir Thomas had created such a nice setup. It's great to be among other authors. Now if I could only inspire people and sell a few books I'd really be estatic. (laughing) Thanks for joining us...
