About Me
I am breaking into the field of authorship. Married with three sons and learning cello. My first book is out, "Beauty In Darkness" Finding HOPE In Distressing Times. It teaches us that we don't have to be afraid of the dark times of our lives, because that is the place we meet God, and He has something to say. Does anyone want to start a conversation on what you think people are looking for today in reading material? Fiction, nature, self-help, spiritual? I know everyone is different but is there a trend today?
Many thanks. Dave T.
Agan, I say, it's great to find you here. I love this site. Sir Thomas had created such a nice setup. It's great to be among other authors. Now if I could only inspire people and sell a few books I'd really be estatic. (laughing) Thanks for joining us...
Masny thanks Thomas. You are very discerning regarding the cello. I played drums for about 25 years and dabbled in guitar after that. But the cello has been beckoning to me for the last 5 years and I finally succumbed. The sound is soul-searching. Glad I did. Thank you for the acceptance and future comraderie.
I see in the background you have a substantial library, well indexed as well. Would I be correct in also assuming the playing the cello is an attempt at a second, or perhaps a third instrument?
I had some great friends in England, he was from Shrilanka, and she was from India. They had a lovely family of two sons, one of which went to Austrailia in the banking business but I believe has since returned to London. I will look forward to having you in our group and as you may have noticed there are some authors in it that no doubt would be glad to be of assistance in your endeavors, as would I. |
