A Time in History

THE CHOICE IS YOURS! Every major country in history, and every major country today, wanted or wants to be in charge. Each political hack that is elected, or takes control by force and fear, or perhaps is born into the position, wants his/her country to be the strongest, the richest, the wisest, and the leader of the rest regardless of a need for that endeavor. Our world is made up of leaders who have never, and will never, settle for peace when the temptation to be the country in charge is in sight, and as long as greed and money make it enticing. No doubt there is a need for moneyâ?¦there always is, but it must be used wisely. Think about thisâ?¦if each country used their own God given products to increase their countryâ??s ability to be independent, and all other countries would do the same with their products and then trade those products accordingly with each other for goods they require; or if the corporations of this world would realistically increase their income (especially in the upper echelon of their leadership) and take care of its people as they once didâ?¦ these world problems could be solved?. Unfortunately, we have too many greedy executives, and others in powerful positions, who worship power and money more than the people that make those countries great. What happened to the pride in our country? Many of the citizens of this great country view these things as unimportant, but I for one, belief we are witnessing the beginning of the end of this beautiful and free country that has been built on freedom, necessity, desire, and hard work. If we allow our government to succumb to socialism, we will inherit the miseries that go with that choice as so many other countries have. Please take a look at China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Guyana, India, North Korea, Portugal, or Shri Lanka. Perhaps you would like to move there and become a socialist, or perhaps you would prefer communism like Cuba and Russia. Another strong prospect you may want to consider would be Muslim countries with Muslim rules. A large part of Great Britain has moved in that direction. I visited the Netherlands a few years back and was warned to stay out of certain areas due to Muslim domination and it was considered unsafe for any tourist. Or, you can just stay here and NOT LET this happen to us! My readers, we are in trying times. Our future is not looking as it should. Are you going to succumb to the fantasy â??life of leisureâ? where you would supposedly get everything for free? (That is as long as the government can exist without going broke?) There is no worse job to have then to have that of the President of the United States. There is no position in todayâ??s government that is trusted 100% by the citizens of this country, including that one. There are good and bad interests on both sides of the table, and if you donâ??t think so you have not been keeping up. I have to say, however, that even with the vulgarity and bad political judgement of the president, he has lived up to most of his pre-election promises ir-regardless of his egotistic attitude, he has worked to fulfill his obligations while being constantly been under fire by the democratic/socialist party that has spent more time in an attempt to derail the president than they have on what they were elected to do. Now we are coming into a new year. Perhaps a good look at what the future appears to be bringing us, as to political administration personnel would be worthwhile, keeping in mind, we have not seen what lays ahead with the Republican party hopefuls. Democratic Caucus - Iowa A quote: â??For the first time, the Iowa Democratic Party planned to report three sets of results: a tally of caucusgoersâ?? initial candidate preference; vote totals from the â??final alignmentâ? after supporters of lower-ranking candidates were able to make a second choice, and the total number of State Delegate Equivalents each candidate received. There is no guarantee that all three will show the same winner when they're ultimately released.â? If this is an example of what the political parties of our country in 2021 and beyond, perhaps it is time to completely re-evaluate the true needs of our country. I have never been 100% Republican nor 100% Democrat, but have attempted to ferret the truth and vote accordingly. Today, finding the truth is more than a full time job. We, as a country, are quickly losing our moral fiber and are in the process of watching the decay of a once strong country. Our legislators only view one thing as necessary, and that is that they become re-elected, regardless of their performance, good or bad. It is time that we take this country back and it would seem the only remaining way of doing that is by eliminating those in power through the ballot box next November. Looking at history of other great countries it stands out that they were affluent, they were powerful, and they had a loyal citizenryâ?¦then the people took it for granted all was well as they were being â??sold down the road.â? The first two paragraphs are direct responses by the democratic convention in Iowa, not something I made up. This is just a repetitious continuation of politics for some time now. The democrats have spent three years doing very littsle with their time but trying to eliminate the president who won over Hillary Clinton. Mrs. Pelosi has spent so much energy on this endeavor that she has proven she has no place in the position to which she has been given. Her actions during the State of the Union message were deplorable and not acceptable as the third most ranking person in the government. Whether she agrees or not with the president, being respectable of the position is important and her blatant disregard for that office is something any young adult should consider bad conduct and hopefully not follow her misguided lead. Basic Information on Prominent Politicians Trump: There is little doubt that being raised in luxury, given several breaks in the financial world, and believing one has done everything due to his/her own ability could easily become a narcissist with an ego the size of the entire earthâ?¦thatâ??s right, no doubt! Taking that into considerationâ?¦is this the kind of person we need running the country? There are going to be a lot of yeas and a lot of nays to that question, butâ?¦what have we had for several years now? We have had glad handers, give away artists, war pushers, peace pushers, and a long list of governing typesâ?¦we have had the country driving further and further into debt and blaming it on the leaderâ?¦rather than the leader(s). I, for one, am not pleased with our presidentâ??s method of communication but maybe I am past this new means of communication called â??Tweeting.â? I do not like exaggerations, name calling, negativism about others, and bullying. In todayâ??s political climate there appears to be no going back to â??almost acceptable politicians.â? However, I do feel he is living up to his promises while fighting an enemy that has no foundation except hatred and jealous retaliation which has blinded them to common sense and reality. There is little that can be done only by the presidentâ?¦he is strong, but our government is supposed to be governed by the elected people, those elected by we the people, not we the immigrants, or we the people who want everything for nothing, who assume that money for those things grows on trees. Pelosi: 1. Pelosi has been credited for spearheading President Obama's health-care law when it seemed that it would go down in defeat. (It raised the cost after being initiated to an unstainable level for many of those that bought into it. There were good parts and bad ones, and many of the bad ones have been eliminated, but not the cost.) 2. She quotesâ?¦â? We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.â? ( Pelosi's earnings are connected to her husband's heavy investments in stocks that include Apple, Disney, Comcast, and Facebook). 3. â??We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long ways to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as â??Americans (many people are relying on their stock investments to retire on. Taking away that income would cause serious consequence for millions of retired people who worked hard for their money, unlike many of the elected government â??fat catsâ? who have made their money from investments most of us never knew about plus an income we, the taxpayers pay for) 4. In 2009 that Pelosi's average net worth was US$58,436,537, ranking her 13th among 25 wealthiest members of Congress. Net worth in 2014 was US$101,273,023 having ranked 8th out of 25 wealthiest members of Congress 5. Pelosi voted against the 1995 Balanced Budget Proposed Constitutional Amendment 6. In 1999, Pelosi voted against displaying the Ten Commandments in public buildings, including schools 7. March 2009, the New York Post wrote that the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch had obtained emails sent by Pelosi's staff requesting that the United States Air Force (USAF) provide specific aircraftâ??a Boeing 757â??for Pelosi to use for taxpayer-funded travel. (And she talks about other people?) 8. In July 2015, Pelosi said she was convinced Obama would have enough votes to secure the Iran nuclear deal, then In 2016, Pelosi argued against the passage of two bills, that if enacted, would block Iran's access to the dollar and impose sanctions for its ballistic missile program: Joseph Biden: 1. The Times added that Joe Biden, in 2016, â??threatened to withhold $1 billion in United States loan guarantees if Ukraineâ??s leaders did not dismiss the countryâ??s top prosecutor, who had been accused of turning a blind eye to corruption in his own office and among the political elite.â? The prosecutorâ??s name was Viktor Shokin. (This was not proven) According to John Solomon, it might be different from the presidentâ??s problem with withholding money for a favor. (Question, how different is this from todayâ??s request from President Trump? Can it be explained?) John Bolton: 1 Based on Boltonâ??s public financial disclosure report, he doesnâ??t appear to be financially reliant on future book sales. (Only one question hereâ?¦should anyone publishing a book about private information be regarded as influential in a probe into the very subject of the unpublished book?) THIS NOVEMBER WILL BE THE TIME TO VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE! NOW IS THE TIME TO TAKE YOUR STAND. CHOOSE WISELY!
